Steal of the Day: a Party Perfect Peekaboo Blouse

Loving this silky, lattice-sleeve top. Loving the fact that it costs a mere $33 even more. It's like a sexed up version of my favorite plain white tee.

When in Rome white top, $33 @ Lulu's.

Shopbop Winter Sale Picks

Still some great pieces to be found at Shopbop's winter sale. These lovelies are all under $100 a pop.

There's still plenty of winter left to wear this cozy cardi. American Vintage Big Sky Country Cardigan, $60.

Get in a few more fireside s'mores sessions in this comfy intarsia knit.  Reformation Gia Cardigan, $85.80.

A great work-to-play number. Pair it with tights and belt a long black cardi over it for day, which you can shake off for after-work cocktails. BB Dakota Matson Abstract Print Dress, $42.50.

Turn That Frown Into $250: Celebrate Valentine's Day with Steven Alan's Breakup Story Contest

And now, for a PSA:

I wanted to let you know about a brilliant Facebook initiative that Steven Alan, one of my favorite shops, is running for Valentine's Day (blech). It's a contest wherein you submit your best breakup stories (via email at reachout@stevenalan.com) to compete to win a $250 gift certificate. Consider it an opportunity to turn a profit on past heartbreaks and misadventures in dating, your pain into fashionable gain. The best stories are posted (anonymously, of course) on the Steven Alan Facebook page, where they can earn votes through "likes." They've already received some great stories, so be sure to check out the page. You're sure to feel better after reading about someone who had it worse than you, or enjoy a good laugh at some of the more ridiculous ones.

Bon chance!

More Lust-Worthy Lustre: Jess LC's Division Chevron Bangle

I first met Jess LC's lovely Division bangle in the pages of the most recent issue of Rue, where I fell in love with this gorgeous little dresser top scene from the jewelry designer's amazing home/studio. Did you know she's also an interior design genius with to-die-for taste? I can't seem to find sources for the beautiful jars, but the story led me to her website, where I stumbled upon the bracelet. So chic, yet so reasonably priced!

Silver-plated Division Chevron Bangle, $48 @ Jess LC.

Bangles and Baubles: 4 Must-Have Treasures for Spring

I hope you all (Chicago friends especially) are keeping warm and toasty during this nationwide snow-in.  I myself am enjoying a very decadent evening at home with a bowlful of chocolate covered strawberries, trawling the interweb in search of shiny treasures. On my short list of covetable bits and baubles:

A chic, asymmetrical bangle. Bone bangle, $8.40 @ Oak.

Ellipse Locket Necklace, $38 @ Need Supply.

An oblong, everyday staple. Dream Collective Crystal Mountain Ring, $66 @ Shopbop.

A bright stone in a non-traditional setting. Lady Grey Eyemond Ring, $85 @ Need Supply.
