From Brazil, With Love

Gorgeous Brazilians make for great cover girls, but who knew there might be a genius lurking among their bronzed and beautiful ranks? With ambitions of creating the perfect dress, Daniella Helayel launched Issa, a line of dresses meant to be sexy, versatile, comfortable, and effortlessly chic all at once. Having mastered the dress, she's moved on to shoes. Helayel's penchant for bold, unique prints is translated beautifully in her footwear. I came across this design from the debut collection (below left) in style.com's fall accessories guide and am absolutely smitten. It's punk rock meets 80's glamour meets exotic reptile. I'm sure Madge would've rocked the hell out of these, circa Who's That Girl.
