Winter White

I really love the rich, creamy look of wool in winter white. On a recent shopping excursion, I saw a gorgeous pair of wide leg trousers in said color, in the perfect weight that made them hang just so on the mannequin. I didn't bother going inside the shop, as they're utterly impractical for walking the slush-covered sidewalks of a New York winter. I did, however, come across this beautiful Mackage coat. If worn sensibly -- i.e. no drinking hot chocolate or mulled wine anywhere in proximity (the lessons we learn . . . sigh) -- it would make a beautiful addition to your winter wardrobe.
