Sweet Street

Lately I've been on the hunt for streetwear that's dressed down yet feminine. These cozy pieces from Cultist really hit the spot.

This is a great layering piece and has just the right amount of shape to prevent you from looking sloppy. Deep Dots Hoodie by 10 Deep. $96 @ Cultist.
This lightweight, sorbet-hued jumper is perfect for a sweltering summer day. Layer over your bathing suit or a white tank and go get yourself an ice cold milkshake. Gridskipper has some great suggestions. Tank Jumper by Cal. Nouveau, $148 @ Cultist.

I'd normally advise you to steer clear of baby tees, especially those advertising the fact that you think you're pretty damn cute. They're almost as heinous as shirts that say "Bebe" on them in little rhinestones, which, believe it or not, people STILL wear -- horrors! However, this snug one from Dime Piece is kind of adorable, and the bright purple is perfect for summer. It should be arriving in stores soon, but you can read more about the company and their grrl power message over at M.I.S.S. Crew, who recently interviewed the designers.
