Sue Stemp

Citing John Singer Sargent portraits and David Hamilton's photographs of flower children as sources of inspiration, Style.com writer Alison Baenen dubbed Sue Stemp's Spring/Summer 2009 collection, "Mademoiselle X." One detail I loved: many of the trousers and shorts featured wide, pleated tuxedo waistbands. View the entire collection here.

Hold on to your high-waisted shorts . . .

Love the blush hue and neckline detail.

New favorite party dress.
