It's hard to think of much else at the moment, so I've compiled a list of ways to donate to the earthquake relief effort in Haiti.
If you've been on Facebook or Twitter in the last 24 hours, you've undoubtedly seen several status updates urging you to make a donation to the efforts via text message. The donation amount is added to your next cell phone bill.
Text "HAITI" to 90999 to donate $10 to the Red Cross or "YELE" to 501501 to donate $5 to Yele Haiti.

Direct Relief International - make sure to select Emergency Relief - Haiti Earthquake from the drop-down menu to ensure that your donation goes specifically towards assisting the relief effort.
CARE - dedicated to fighting global poverty, with a special emphasis on working with poor women.
Mercy Corps - allows you to create your own donation page so you can mobilize friends and family to raise larger amounts of money together in teams.
Partners in Health - uses a community-based approach to treat infectious diseases and eliminate preventable deaths in impoverished areas.
The International Rescue Committee - focuses on crisis first-response efforts and the resettlement of refugees. Requires minimum payment amount of $10.
Yele Haiti - a grassroots org founded by Wyclef Jean, dedicated to building awareness for Haiti and organizing community service projects.
The Lambi Fund of Haiti - a grassroots org that supports economic justice, democracy, and sustainable development in Haiti.
