Shopping the A.P.C. Sale: Top Picks for the Ladies

If you haven't hit the A.P.C. sale, you had better get over there as fast as you can, snow be damned. Almost everything is 50% off, unless otherwise indicated. Though some of the goods are available online, there's plenty in store that you won't find. While passing through to pick up a tie for bf's final Hannukah present, I managed to grab the red hard shell purse I'd been coveting for $165, and I may have to return for the belt.

The anchor cardi! Now $126 (was $180).

Okay, so this green animal print tunic from A.P.C.'s new Madras line is not on sale, but I had to post it because it's both pretty and reasonably priced at $120.

 

This bag is actually from the men's collection but I think it goes both ways. It's looks like the perfect thing to tote to Lit class. 

 

This one is also unisex. These flannel duffels look so cozy and are great for lugging your things home for the holidays.  Duffel bag with nickel zipper, $135 (was $270). Available in red/violet and black/white.

A.P.C.: Je Veux Tout

I'm loving A.P.C.'s accessories this season.  Their Mercer Street shop is just down the lane from me, and on a recent stop-by, I fell in love with several items, both functional and decorative, with which to adorn myself. The photos on their website really don't do these beauties justice, so if you're local, do pop in to check them out.

Such lovely colors! Multi-colored braided belt, $120.

This was my favorite, adorably propped up on its side in the window display. Hardshell mini-purse, $330.

Also like this one. Orange buffalo leather chain-strap shoulder bag, $470.

These sheepskin lined moccasins with visible stitching are just as cozy as they are adorable.  I will never understand why women insist on wearing hideous Uggs when chicer options are available.  The $420 price tag may be a bit hard to swallow, but think cost per wear. Come winter, you'll be living in 'em. Also available in black, and they have homme versions as well.

This unisex neckwarmer in a goes-with-everything marled charcoal was the bee's knees and I could hardly bring myself to take it off. $170.
