Go Wide

In bold defiance of the move to the wide legged jean (and against the dictums of countless fashion editors), I've clung tenaciously to my skinny jeans even as this trend takes the retail world by storm. I'm not a fan of the cartoonishly high-waisted jean that's unwearable for all but a select few leggy Brazilian supermodels, but I have to admit, I do like something that calls to mind Cher, Charlie's Angels or Chrissy from Three's Company (in moderation). When done right, a wide leg trouser jean can be very chic. Note: must be worn with heels (perfect for fall platforms), unless you WANT to channel the seriously unstylish soccer mom.
