View Masters seem to be experiencing a revival of some sort. I've found these in high-end home stores both in Europe and in NYC. If you're a fan of such kitsch and have a thing for conceptual art, you might want to check out the Wim Delvoye collection of Stereoscopic View Master Reels, available through Colette. I've just eaten breakfast and don't have the stomach to explain what the Belgian artist is known for, so I'll let Wiki do the talking. Let's just say that if you're expecting to see the cartoon heroes of your childhood, or scenic tourist destinations, you'll be in for a surprise.
