I have an aversion to all things tie dye and have resisted this season's attempt at bringing it back. Not all retro fashions deserve an encore, and this one is better left buried in the past. However, if you must indulge the yearnings of your inner hippie child, skip the t-shirts and maxi dresses this time around. Limit your intake to accents and accessories, and avoid the day-glo colors of summer camp Arts & Crafts workshops. The scarf pictured below serves as an example of the acceptable use of tie dye.
