The Basic Black Carryall: Jerome Dreyfuss, Alexander Wang, or Marc by Marc?

After years of sporting colored handbags, I think I'm ready to revisit basic black. My requirements are that it be large enough to tote around a day's worth of belongings, casual enough to wear daily but chic enough to go out at night, and cost under $1,000.

This looks rugged enough to withstand daily abuse. Jerome Dreyfuss Large Billy Bag in Noir,  $985 @ Otte.

Alexander Wang Jess Small Shopper (don't let the name fool you -- it's pretty darn big), $895 @ La Garconne. I'm also craving the Daphne Duffel.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Sasha leather shoulder bag, $500 @ Net-a-Porter. I haven't done a cross-body style in a while.
