Cuisine Art: Food Stylist Helen Dujardin

I did it! I FINALLY kicked the stupefying illness that had plagued me for two agonizing weeks. To celebrate the return of my tastebuds, I made haste for my favorite food blogs in search of some mouthwatering inspiration. I frequent these sites as much for their delectable delights as for the beautiful photography, and was overjoyed to discover that Helen Dujardin of Tartelette actually sells her food photos on Etsy, so you can plaster her hunger-inducing food porn all over your kitchen walls. Some prints currently on offer:

Comforting chocolat chaud for your white winter. Cocoa and Marshmallows, $35 for an 8x12 print.  I've been looking for white silverware like the spoons pictured here and am dying to know where I can get them. For Helen's traditional family chocolat chaud recipe, head on over to the blog.

Beautifully tarnished forks. Let's Eat, $35 for an 8x12.

Perfectly arranged Pears, $35 for an 8x12.

Winter is Coming, and Your Tea Needs a Sweater

With colder temps right around the corner, I'll soon be back to drinking tea on the regular. I've still got some heady Mariage Freres left over from a trip to Paris back in '08 and am pretty sure that tea alone will get me through the winter. Well, that and this adorable tea cozy.

Tea Mug Cozy by KnitStorm. $14, available on Etsy.

Meet My Future Decorator

Blogger has a new-ish feature whereby one can "follow" a blog, and it displays the numbers of followers you have when you log in. I'm not entirely sure how it works, exactly, but I was curious to find out who these people were that deemed me worthy of following (as for why, I can't fathom, but I won't complain). I pulled up the list and clicked on a user named YellowGoat, and was transported to her wonderful design blog. She does a lot of DIY and has created some lovely jewelry and decorative items for the home. I fell head over heels for her wall. I really wish she would come decorate my apartment.

I adore the Herman Miller rocking chair and lovely paper decorations against a robin's-egg-blue wall.

She's got an Etsy shop, so go check out her handmade wares. I'm especially enamored of the following:

Little Paper Airplane Earrings, $25.

Today Is . . . Bangle, $90.

Little Goddess Headband, $128. Made to order.
