I've been on a green kick for a few years now (as in the color, not eco-fashion -- hey, I'm trying), but with the exception of a pair of emerald hued Stella McCartney stilettos, my fondness for the color has been largely confined to apparel. However, I recently stumbled across this outrageously green, Michael Kors cutout wedge. I like the vivid shade and the architectural shape, but I won't be able to wear it until Spring, and it's quite possible that I might hate it by then. Pass?

I recently attended a trend forecasting presentation put on by Doneger Group, and one of the key points was that nothing new is happening in fashion, and we've arrived at an Age of Appropriation, where designers are constantly borrowing, revising, and re-interpreting what's already been done.
